KEY DESIGN FEATURES
Silhouette: Single-breasted tailored jacket with a slightly softer, more versatile line than a traditional tuxedo.
Collar: One-piece shawl collar, cut together with the front, shaped to meet a two-button closure. Satin or silk may still be used for contrast, though optional.
Closure: Two-button front fastening, lowering the formality and offering a more contemporary balance.
Pockets: Welt chest pocket; two lower flap pockets with welts.
Sleeves: Full-length, two-piece tailored sleeves with vents.

SEAM ALLOWANCES
No seam allowances by default. If the option to add them at €1 is chosen, the pattern will come with seam allowances included.

- Upper Sleeve – use Upper Sleeve pattern excluding vent extension, cut 2.
- Lower Sleeve – use Lower Sleeve pattern excluding vent extension, cut 2.
- Flap – use Flap pattern, cut 2.
- Lower Pocket Bag – use Lower Pocket Bag pattern, cut 2.
- Upper Pocket Bag – use Upper Pocket Bag pattern, cut 2.
- Shorten the lining length by 2 cm at the hem.
From Fusible Interfacing:
- For drafting fusible interfacing patterns, use the following patterns:
- Front – cut 2.
- Center Front Facing – cut 2.
- Flap – cut 2.
- Hem allowances of Fronts, Back, and Sleeves (copy their length and width and cut according to it).
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Before cutting your fabric, print and lay out the paper patterns according to your fabric width (140–150 cm) to determine yardage. Carefully match balance lines and ensure correct placement of welt pockets.
