FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DIGITAL PATTERN 4298

This pattern is best suited for medium to heavy coat-weight fabrics with structure and stability as well as leather.

Recommended materials: Melton wool, wool-blend tweed, jacquard, bonded cotton, or suiting fabrics.

SEAM ALLOWANCES

No seam allowances are included by default. If an option to add them at 1 EUR is chosen, see below allowances by section:

• 4 cm at garment and sleeve hem

• 2 cm at pocket welts and bags

• 2 cm at lining hem

• 1 cm on all other seams

Please note: a single contour on the pattern pieces means no seam allowances are included. A double contour indicates seam allowances are included.

IMPORTANT PRE-CUTTING NOTES

• • Always print and lay out pattern pieces on fabric (90–150 cm width) before cutting to estimate yardage.

  • Check for mirrored and paired pieces.

• Match all notches carefully—they are essential for correct alignment.
